engagement session.  i tell all of my couples that the first 15 minutes of any photography session is a bit awkward and the couple is usually nervous, not knowing what to expect.  at the end of the engagement session however, they've had so much fun and are so relaxed that they can't wait to their wedding day to jump right back in front of the camera.  courtney and drew were no exception.  the great thing about courtney & drew's wedding party is that they were ready to have some fun too.  it really helps when the couple tell all of their friends about their engagement experience, it just sets a great tone for the entire wedding day.  we started with courtney at her parents house, i absolutely love the picture of courtney watching julia getting ready.  from there, we met up with the gentlemen at elim baptist church for and incredibly moving ceremony.  after that, the whole bridal party had some fun at a the rockford arboretum before heading to giovanni's for their wedding reception.  we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.  thanks courtney and drew for making our day so easy.  enjoy. details: dress designed by casablanca shoes by chinese laundry cake by patricia's patisserie flowers arranged by privilages reception music by deejay dewey rothering">

and if you see something you like, please make a comment at the end of the blog. we absolutely love reading what you are thinking as you go through the pictures.
