trisha & glenn…

June 22, 2011 wedding

when i first met trisha & glenn, i fell in love with both of them.  as a couple, and as individuals.  when i met their bridal party, i fell in love all over again.  they were the most energetic, easy going, come-as-you-are people.  i could handle spending every weekend with trisha & glenn and all of their guests.  seriously, they just rocked.

the day started out with a simple text “wanna get married today?”  that totally set the mood for the whole day.  glenn, you did well.  after getting everyone’s hair done at hot heads, we all headed to cliffbreakers.  the lighting in the sultan suite was amazing, but didn’t even compare to how amazing trisha looked.  i absolutely love the pictures we got of her and her bridesmaids getting her into her wedding gown.  we had to get a quick sulking portrait in there.  why?  just because i love the look of a beautiful bride in her wedding dress sulking.  and she rocked it.

then it was time for glenn and the boys.  this rowdy bunch was into it all.  the serious shots, the fun shots, and they even one-upped the jumping shot, but launching off of a loading dock at the prairie street brew house.

right after their outdoor ceremony, we spent a bit of time around the brew house before heading up the rock river on a little boat tour.  right after we docked the boat, trisha & glenn suggested a jumping picture.  i have never seen any group put more effort into their hops.  wow.

details, details, details.  we were lucky enough to get into cliffbreakers earlier in the day to get some room shots and i’m so glad that we did.  trisha & glenn put a ton of time into all the little details that made their wedding stick out in their guests’ minds as one to remember.  after some tear producing stories, trisha & glenn stepped out to the dance floor.  luxe productions nailed the lighting for us and kept everyone dancing well into the evening.  we brought the photobooth and after trisha & glenn got things started, it became an evening of who can out-do who.

i love looking back through wedding pictures.  i love looking through ours and through the ones we were a part of.  this is one we will never forget.  enjoy.
