when we shot jessie & james’ engagement pictures, i knew i was going to love them. jessie (and james) stood in a field of mosquitoes in madison on a warm afternoon and just simply “took it.” from that moment on, i knew that nothing would stand in their way on their wedding day. we spent the entire time with jessie & james at the barn at harvest moon. this place is amazing. from the bridal and groom suites in the basement, to the amazing loft space for the ceremony, to the grounds with endless possibilities, seriously amazing. from a photographer’s standpoint, jessie & james were perfect. they played outside in the cold for just enough time (maybe a few minutes too many but…) and they just gelled together really well. we barely had to coach them, they just melted together. it could have been that jessie was trying to take some of james’ body heat but… enjoy.
